Michael-Cleary Expands Presence in The Design Center at The Merchandise Mart
CHICAGO (Jan. 16, 2018) — Marking its thirteenth year at The Design Center at the Merchandise Mart, Michael-Cleary recently relocated its showroom to feature an expanded product offering. The brand will increase its presence, moving from the fourteenth floor to Suite 6-102.
The additional 800-square-feet of space allowed for the addition of new products from Grag Studios, Esperanza Collection Lighting and Artisan Rugs, as well as expanded lines from Niermann Weeks, de Gournay, Keith Fritz Fine Furniture and Minton-Spidell.
“We are thrilled to continue to grow our long-standing relationship with the Design Center,” said Matt Costigan, owner at Michael-Cleary. “With over a decade of success within our Chicago showroom, we are excited to expand both our offerings and our presence to the region’s active design community.”

The Design Center at The Merchandise Mart Marks 2017 as Banner Year for Development and Growth
CHICAGO (Dec. 19, 2017) — The Design Center at The Merchandise Mart (theMART), the premier source for residential interior design and outdoor furnishings and décor, celebrates a robust year of expansion and reinvestment in 2017 and looks to build on this success in 2018.
With a strong reputation and preeminent position as the world’s largest collection of luxury design showrooms, the Design Center welcomed six additional tenants this year, including Artisan Electronics Group, DEDON, Eddie Bauer Home Outdoor, Elizabeth+Grace, Moore & Giles and Style Library. Also committed this year but opening in early 2018 are Forward Space Studio, a manufacturer of residential and work environments, and Surya, a home accessories purveyor. STYLE LIBRARY Set to Open at Design Center at theMART
Chicago (Oct. 2, 2017) — On Tuesday, Oct. 3, STYLE LIBRARY will open its first ground-up location on the 6th floor of the Design Center at the Merchandise Mart (theMART). U.K.-based Walker Greenbank PLC is launching STYLE LIBRARY as the new global home for its six interior product lines.
The Chicago showroom marks the second US-based showroom for STYLE LIBRARY, and will offer access to the Walker Greenbank family of brands including Sanderson, Harlequin, Zoffany, Morris & Co, Scion and Anthology. The lines vary in terms of style and product offering, but all celebrate a passion for color, texture and craftsmanship.
