Going to the movies has always been a wonderful form of escapism, which unfortunately is not available to us right now. We hope that it will be back soon. Fortunately we can recreate the magic of cinematic escapism in our own homes, even to a level that is superior to what we enjoy in a commercial cinema. The term “Home Theater” is all too often broadly applied. For the purposes of this CEU presentation we will describe and define the differences between a Media Room and a Dedicated Cinema, and the design specifics that are involved in the creation of both.
